Sad News – Farewell - We are sad to announce that Joanne Cooney, our 4th grade teacher will be leaving us in January.  After many prayers she has decided to take care of personal matters related to health and family.  We send our support and prayers to her through this difficult time.  It has been a wonderful experience having her back and she will be missed.

We are blessed to know that Kathy Kindell has agreed to take over the 4th grade class and will be transitioning with Ms. Cooney when we return from Christmas break.

Christmas Program – This Thursday, December 14th at 7:00 PM, the students will illustrate the meaning of Christmas by performing The Nativity.  The performance will be in the Church but the students will meet in the Fr. Fox Social Hall at 6:40 PM.  Please have your child(ren) dressed in their Christmas Dress clothes.  Following the church performance there will be a band concert in the Sonny-Kenaston Family Gym.

Thank You – We are grateful for our volunteers and teachers who taught our 1st trimester electives.  Many thanks to Mrs. Janik who taught Book Club, Mr. Apostol who taught Intramural Sports, Mrs. Keenan who taught Spanish and Mrs. Poteet who taught School Newspaper.

If you have a passion and talent you’d like to share with our students consider teaching electives! We are always looking for volunteers willing to create an enriching learning environment. Electives take place on Fridays from 2:30-3:15. Some examples of electives are coding classes, creative writing, chess club, intramural sports, cooking, yearbook, or your special hobby!
