Open House – Please visit our school for an Open House on Sunday, January 28th from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Please mark your calendars and bring friends, neighbors and interested families to our Open House.

Brown Bear Car Wash Tickets for sale! - Help support the 8th Graders! They are trying to raise money to offset the cost of their 8th Grade Retreat to Warm Beach in late May! Regular Brown Bear Car Wash tickets cost $10, but you can get them for $7! These would make great Valentine Gifts! Please contact an 8th Grader to buy some tickets for your favorite driver! The tickets are good for one year and are honored at all Brown Bear Car Washes!
March For Life – On Monday, January 22nd, our 7th & 8th Grade Students will participate in the March For Life in Olympia. Fr. Christiansen will celebrate “Mass for Life at 8:00 AM. Following Mass we will join Archbishop Sartain, many other Catholic Schools, priests and families in this peaceful display of solidarity to speak up for the unborn and those who cannot speak for themselves in Olympia. Catholic Daughters of America has provided a bus for the students, chaperones and any parents who would like to attend. Fr. Christiansen, Mr. Parker, Mrs. Van Hollebeke and Mrs. Poteet will be chaperoning the students. Please let the school office know if you would like to join us.
Family Math Night – Please mark your calendars for Family Math Night on Thursday, Feb. 1st at 6:00 PM. Math Night is for all grade levels and is a great way to meet other parents and encourage students to learn math in a fun way. It is a FREE family event. Parents and children will benefit by learning the different math games together. Many thanks go to Lisa Fox for chairing this event.
SAVE THE DATE – “Monopoly” Auction Gala, Saturday, March 3, 2018. This year our school Auction will be held at Cascadia College in Bothell.
***Snow and Emergency Closures – St. Pius X School closes for snow days because the students we serve come from many different areas. When it is necessary to close the school or have a late start please listen to one of the following TV and Radio Stations; KOMO TV 4 (1000 AM), KIRO TV 7 (710 AM) and KING TV 5. This information will also be posted on the school website at www.stpx.org. If school is open on snowy days, please use your own discretion as to whether it is safe for you to get your child to school.
***ARCHDIOCESAN VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS***
In order for anyone to be able to volunteer for any St. Pius X School or Parish related events there are 4 requirements that must be met:
New parents - please log on to the Virtus website at http://www.virtus.org/virtus/index.cfm and click the “Registration” tab to create a Virtus profile and to sign up for a “Protecting God’s Children” class and to submit a background check to Trak-1.
