Lord, send your abundant blessing upon your people who devoutly recall the death of your Son in the sure hope of the Resurrection.  Grant us pardon; bring us comfort.  May our faith grow stronger and our eternal salvation be assured.  Amen.

Tuesday (4/25/17): Begin Unit 3. Read Pages 67-71 in Christ Our Life. (Moses, 10 Plagues).

Wednesday (4/26/17):  Mass. 9:00am.  Read Pages 72-73, Christ Our Life. (Exodus, Crossing the Red Sea).

Thursday (4/27/17):  Read Pages 74-75, Christ Our Life. (Christian Passover compared to Eucharist).  Planners go home Thursdays for parents to check and initial.

Friday (4/28/17): Prayer Test on "Lord Send Your Abundant Blessing".  Chapter 10 Study cards passed out.  YouTube video, Ron Wyatt-Red Sea Crossing.  Chapter 10 Quiz, Tuesday 5/2/17.

Tuesday: Poetry Introduction Word Wall & Crossword.  Fill out: Poetry, line, form, rhyme, concrete poem on glossary. (Due Thursday)

Wednesday: No Literature Class on Wednesdays.

Thursday: Write a concrete poem (where shape tells about content)

Friday: Ballads: read the Ballad of John Henry on Pg 167 -176 in Lit book.  Complete Plot Chart and Questions 2-4 PG 176. Add ballad and refrain to glossary. This will be started in class
