About Fantasy Fest
Fantasy Fest, held the weekend after Memorial Day, is one of the largest fundraisers of the year. Fantasy Fest is a three-day carnival held on the school grounds. It includes rides, games, arts & crafts, food, live entertainment, and a pub for the parents. Admission is free.
Fantasy Fest also includes a raffle. A minimum number of tickets must be sold by the students in the weeks preceding the fest. The drawing for cash prizes is held the last day of the festival.
Other fun activities include a Teen Dance, a pie-eating contest, and a buffet dinner.
Volunteers Needed
Without parent volunteers, Fantasy Fest would not be possible. The School Contract stipulates a minimum number of hours for which each family must volunteer. This can be achieved through participation in Fantasy Fest committees or by working the weekend of the festival. Some of the Fantasy Fest Committees include Food Booths, Facilities, Entertainment, Vendor Booths, Game Booths and Advertising.
Planning for the 2008 Fantasy Festival has already begun. To learn more or to volunteer, contact the St. Pius X office.
