The Sisters of Charity, BVM, has been an American religious community for 170 years. The sisters taught at St. Pius X School for 40 years. Sister Mary Isidora Lorentz was a teacher and librarian at St. Pius X from 1975 to 1997. She passed in Dubuque, Iowa on February 17, 2008. We are pleased to post her memoirs here: The Autobiography of Sister Mary Isidora Lorentz. Her autobiography is 35 pages in PDF format.
