2024 Distinguished Alumni
Growing up on opposite coasts, Monica and Nathan Keen first met in Bellingham, Washington at Sehome High School and have since built a life together. After completing their studies at Seattle Pacific University, they ultimately established their home north of Seattle, ultimately becoming integral members of the St. Pius X Parish community in 2001, which has since served as their spiritual foundation.Their journey as parents has taken them to China twice, as they had the privilege and joy of adopting their daughter, Cece, from China in 2004, followed by the adoption of their son, Anbin, in 2013. Both children have graduated from St. Pius X School, where they have received support not only as students but as future leaders.Monica, an alumna of St. Joan of Arc School in Los Angeles, has actively contributed to the St. Pius community. Her efforts with the Parent Club, her leadership of the Annual Fund dinner, and her role in the school auction reflect her commitment to enhancing the educational experience for all students. Nathan's dedication is evident through his two terms as a member of the School Commission, where he has worked to strengthen the educational environment.Cece is currently pursuing a career in ultrasound while also contributing to her school community by teaching electives and currently assisting Mrs. Raney in the Pre-K classroom. Anbin, a senior at O'Dea High School, exemplifies leadership and service through his roles as a CYO coach at St. Pius, an altar server in the parish, and also facilitating input sessions with 5-12th graders as part of the Seattle Archdiocese Youth Council.The Keen family's steadfast support for Catholic education and their deep commitment to St. Pius X School represent the values of community and service that we honor today. We recognize the Keen family for their significant contributions, which serve as a guiding light for future generations and encourage a spirit of giving back within our community.

What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund is hosted each year as a free event and dinner for guests and supporters of St. Pius X to attend. The evening includes dinner, a student talent show, and a presentation of our distinguished graduates and the elected Young Alum of the Year!
The evening includes an "ask" to extend your support to St. Pius X School to help bridge the gap between the school's funding and tuition to keep the school running and activities for the students plentiful. We are grateful for any support you extend to our school!
